This painting is a collab I did with Aaron Sikstrom aka :iconseethrou:

He did the lineart, I colored it

It is the most time consuming painting I have EVER done! I spent 142 hours on it, I lost the file 3 times and I have finally found the motivation to finish it today because it was just making me nervous and feeling guilty because I had planned to finish it ages ago. Now it's done!!! Wheee!! (I'm very very sorry for the delay Aaron :( )

I hope you'll like it :) (and I know it's not realistic, the anatomy, lighting, water, skin, plants, etc... are full of "artistic freedom")

As a pretty strictly traditional artist, i've made some snobbish remarks about the validity of digital artwork - you defy any negative thing i could have ever said. Such rich colours, undoubted skill and effort, not just a "fill colour" kind of thing. Everything i've seen of yours is nothing short of amazing. You're an inspiration.
