Edited : Larger version with watermark. I refined the hand, haid, adjusted the color scheme, added some bubbles. Print updated (no watermark on it of course).

This painting is a concept for a videogame project about Atlantis. The characters are Atlas, the king of Atlantis and a Nereid : Dione.
It had to be a little bit similar to "Deep Sea Creature" because this one has become part of the game aswell (so I've added the same features on the faces under the eyes, a similar composition, etc...)

This is some kind of a "speed painting" (10 hours...) and yeah, I know about the blurry hand... boo boo, it's ugly ^^ I'll fix it when I have more time ) so it's a little bit messy... I had to meet a deadline so I've not had time to make it look better and I'm a little bit too busy at the moment to work more on it.

Photoshop CS and my beloved wacom, my bf used as a ref for Atlas face and a mirror for the Nereid's face (each member of the team will be converted into one of the game characters and since my name is very similar to the one of this Nereid, I've painted myself as her More coming soon! )
