:star:Edited : I changed the color scheme, the composition and added a watermark. Too many art thefts :( :star:

After lots of days of work, I'm calling it finished (finished for now though.... Pamzylove wants me to add a hand holding a ball of fire, I'll do an alternate version with the hand when I can )

It's Fire, the second piece of my elements serie. The first one is [link] . I'll rework it since it looks flat and a little bit sketchy compared to the fire one.

Photoshop CS and a wacom intuos 3A4, approx 35 hours (maybe more). Everything has been painted with a round hard edged brush. I've also used round soft brush for the glow. I'll try to do a tutorial if some of you are interested in it

I love how this turned out. I really like the vibrant colors you used. I also like how you designed the background to recall the texture and movement of glowing, oozing magma and how you integrated the background with the character herself. I like the character's expression and the intensity of her gaze...even without the addition of the fireball, I think this captures the essence and power of fire really well. :)
