We've got a new song posted on our myspace, "Paysage Désert", please check it out : it's the perfect soundtrack to view this image :)

Also, we'll be on stage the 13th of february so if you're in Paris, don't hesitate to come support us :aww:

Now let's talk about some technical stuff :

Photoshop CS3
25 or 30hours
wacom intuos 3 A4
a very small and crappy shot of my face taken with Photobooth as a reference
I googled some jellies as refs for their main shape :)
Water is heavily referenced from many google images for the main big splash as I wanted to make it look as real as I could.
Been quite time consuming…

Photo texture from www.cgtextures.com (rust) used on top of the picture to add scratches :)

I'll let you figure out about the symbolism ^^

Thanks a lot for viewing

:star: EDIT2 : better lighting, more details :) :star:

Unreal, love the lighting & her hair is very tentacle/ medusa-like. The detail is fantastic though.

It's a beautiful combination of orange and teal-I love the way your colors seem to merge in your art.

Love your aquatic imaginarium... deep waters are always creepy and yet fascinating and you always manage to depict this.

I watched one of your tutorials (hanagumori) and fond it very instructive.
The use of colours and the way you combine them in photoshop.
This piece is not as complex in therms of details as your others, but is much deeper in meanings.
Truly the best from the Syllia series.
Congrats.
